Newborn images steal my heart. Over, and over again.

Those who know me hear me say it too much, but I'll say it again here. I believe my work is important. Far more important than pictures. For me, a successful image has to go beyond capturing the physical likeness of the subject- you must feel something- want to stare at it longer than just recognizing the person's exterior.

My summer schedule has me traveling with few openings for sessions. If you are thinking of booking a session this fall, now is the time to schedule.

meeting little souls

I had a great time meeting a great family out in Gap a couple of weeks ago. We had fun inside, and then went out and BRAVED the 30 degree weather for just a few shots. I think this session was a success- can't you just feel the happiness?? sigh....don't I just have the best job?

I spent the week exploring with 14 extremely talented and successful photographers at a Jesh de rox workshop. The image above describes how I feel this morning. (taken last month)
